J9 - Programming Language Pascal
Technical Committee J9 is responsible for the production of a Technical
Report on Object- Oriented Extensions to Pascal, the maintenance of the
Extended Pascal Standard, and the replacement of the 1983 Pascal
Standard by adoption of the now revised ISO Pascal Standard. The
majority of committee work is expected to be on development of the
Technical Report of Object-0riented
Extensions and investigation into other areas, such as exception
handling,
that are not addressed in the existing Pascal Standards. All
development
and maintenance work is being done in concert with JTC1/SC22/WG2.
This is a Maintenance TC.
This technical committee is the U.S. TAG to ISO/IEC JTC 1 SC22/WG2
and provides recommendations on U.S. positions to the JTC 1 TAG.
